Jonathan Morgan Price - A Sonic Architect 

     I am a self employed ambient and alternative guitarist from Raleigh, North Carolina. For the past 14 years, I have been providng services as a professional musician to central and eastern North Carolina. Although I now specialize in ambient, alternative, and indie music styles, I began my career in blues and jazz genres. Like most classic stories of most musicians, I spent my childhood locked away as I learned how to truly play guitar. However, as I grew older, I was introduced to the ideas of effected guitar signals, such as delay and reverb. This personally new area of discovery catapulted me away from the traditional ideas of what music is, to what music can be. I wanted to push the sonic envelope with guitar in ways the it seems no one was doing. I began to experiment and to dabble with different types of effects, to change the guitar from the old, plinky block of wood, to a classical innovation in sound processing.
